My name is Konny Fernandez, and I am a bilingual American citizen, proudly born in Costa Rica. I have developed a strong foundation in customer service and client relations through diverse professional roles and personal experiences. My journey commenced at McDonald’s right after I graduated from high school in Costa Rica, where I gained crucial skills in customer interaction and teamwork within a dynamic environment.
Transitioning to Teleperformance, I worked diligently as a Customer Service Agent, managing inquiries and resolving issues for various clients from the United States. This role refined my capacity to handle challenges with professionalism and empathy, enhancing my communication skills and problem-solving abilities.
Upon moving to the United States, I ventured into education and joined The Cottage School in 2014, where I found joy in inspiring and guiding students. My passion for nurturing young learners led me to become a lead teacher at Sunshine Preschool, enabling me to foster growth in a supportive educational environment.
Currently, I serve as a lead teacher in the Pre-K room at KinderCare Learning Centers, where I create and implement engaging educational programs that promote cognitive, social, and emotional development among young children. My teaching philosophy emphasizes individualized learning and cultivates an environment rich in curiosity and exploration.
I am a dedicated advocate for individuals, particularly within education, and I believe wholeheartedly in the transformative power of learning. With over a decade of experience working with diverse groups, I am committed to making a significant and positive impact in every educational setting I am honored to be part of.
