Requirements
• Ensures the Organization’s vision and mission statement and the Department’s goal and objectives are incorporated in the
daily operation of the homes.
• Ensures compliance with and implementation of the Department’s Policies and Procedures relative to Community Homes.
Assembles, maintains, and monitors all in-house and individual records. Assists with and ensures the upkeep and
maintenance of the home.
• Works all assigned schedules, including but not limited to arriving and departing on time, requesting time off in advance, and
notifying supervisor of changes to the assigned work schedule, along with serving as an On-Call supervisor per schedule.
• Completes and maintains all required State mandated training requirements annually.
• Participates in various committees or workgroups as approved.
• Attends meetings and training sessions as required.

Staffing Responsibilities
• Provides leadership and oversight for the day-to-day operations of assigned home(s) to deliver high quality care and home
settings.
• Trains new Direct Support staff members, ensuring effective on-boarding and successful transition from the classroom to in-
home on-the-job training.
• Communicates individually on a regular basis to clarify job responsibilities, program purpose, philosophy, and goals.
• Provides guidance, direction, support, and ongoing training, development, and constructive feedback.
• Ensures staff adhere to the appropriate procedures and that the appropriate people, both professionals and family, have
been notified in the event of a reportable incident.
• Responsible for scheduling and ensuring that all shifts are covered.
• As necessary, assigns work and arranges work schedules for employees.
• Schedules and attends team meetings and monitoring visits at the homes.
• Acts as a Practicum Observer per the Medication Administration requirements.
Daily Programming
• Oversees the operations of Residential homes to ensure cleanliness and safety.
• Ensures that the homes are clean, safe, secure, and maintained in accordance with acceptable company standards and the
Policy and Procedure manual, and State regulations by conducting weekly site inspections for assigned residential homes.
• Oversees the maintenance of residential home vehicles.
• Oversees and monitors individual finances and documentation of spending.
• Supports the achievement of individuals’ personal outcomes.
• Ensures timely completion and submission of monthly fire drills, weekly house inspections, and monthly house meetings.
• Ensures timely completion and submission of weekly grocery shopping.
• Schedules and attends individuals’ medical appointments ensuring compliance with Chapter 6400 & 6100 regulations and
the Department of Human Services’ standards.
• Ensures that prescriptions are refilled and delivered in a timely manner.

5. Encourages individuals to assist in the preparation of meals and snacks as appropriate to their individual plan and behavior plan.
6. Keeps residence-both interior and exterior-and resident personal space clean, organized, and tidy and encourage them to
participation in home upkeep as appropriate according to their individual plans.
7. Teaches individuals daily skills such as household chores, laundry, cleaning, and washing dishes, as appropriate according to their
individual plan.

1. Observes individuals for evidence of injury or bruises and evaluates for changes in emotional and physical status. Reports and noted
problems to the Residential Manager immediately and completes a written incident report form.
2. Reports all medical related incidents to the House Manager.
