After receiving Military Occupational Specialty (MOS) 0331 infantry machine gunner, reported to 1st Battalion 6th Marine Regiment stationed out of Camp Le'Jeune NC. Through actions earning team leader of a 3 man machine gun crew earning the rank of Lance Corporal E-3 during time of enlistment. Training while with 1/6 included underwater egress training. Retired from active duty in February 2009.
