Troubleshoots, calibrates, and adjusts plant floor devices as necessary to maintain optimal performance of plant floor equipment. As well as, sort calls, breakdowns and expedites their completion. This position provides information to maintenance mechanics on how to complete required repairs to resolve breakdown situations.

Assists with overseeing the protection of physical assets, facility and equipment maintenance, and facility housekeeping. Assists with identifying and scheduling necessary repairs and preventative maintenance using BaSE mechanics and outside vendors to maintain the condition of the facility.

Supervise seven to ten part-time Package Handlers.

Trains, develops, and holds their workgroups responsible for safety, production, and attendance. Ensures that employees follow company policies regarding attendance, tardiness, and sick time, schedules shifts and staff members based on business needs and employee availability. Manage and schedules employees, is responsible for all loss prevention tactics, complies with all safety standards required by the company, ensures the department meets all set goals, and works closely with central dispatch to efficiently move freight.

Assist UPS drivers with package delivery during peak seasons, holidays. Main duties: load/unload packages, help with navigation, deliver packages, and customer interaction.

Load and unload trucks, sort packages based on delivery routes. Adhere to company safety standards.

Operate mechanical equipment to move larger package shipments.
