To manage the maintenance and repair of over 50 properties in the south shore.
My job is an independent working position that allows me to demonstrate my time management and problem-solving skills.
I have quickly developed a hands-on skillset for fixing most problems and then billing for them.
My customer service skills are a crucial tool when it comes to the face-to-face interactions with the homeowners and hired trade workers.
We were short staffed over the summer, and I was the only employee on the road.
I Managed my time so efficiently I was able to tear down a weathered deck and rebuild it while completing all my other more crucial work orders.
I still found time to keep up on my paperwork and never abandoned the mindset of (if I see something wrong on a property I'll fix it).
I feel like that was a great accomplishment that I'm proud of.
However, there is one thing that speaks volume to the person I am.
Throughout that summer we acquired a property that had a severe problem with people dumping their trash illegally.
I would intentionally drive through the complex every day and pick up all the trash being left scattered around the dusters.
I'm the type of person that regardless of my position or circumstance I will always stop and do the right thing.

Hired as a General Manager for the company's South Weymouth, MA restaurant, which employs 30 staff members.
In 2005, I was promoted to General Manager/Training Manager.
In April 2008, I was asked to become General Manager/Training Manager of the Pembroke, MA restaurant, (50 employees), which was having sales and operational problems.
Now, it is one of the best performing.
Accomplishments include:
Developing a training program for employees, supervisors, and managers to boost sales, which resulted in a 12% sales increase, at the South Weymouth location, in the first year.
I also improved cost and sanitary controls, revenue capture, and increased security regarding employee cash handling.
Effectively managing profit and loss and improving maintenance of the Pembroke and South Weymouth restaurant's equipment and furnishings, saving on overall maintenance costs, which resulted in awards of quarterly performance bonuses on a continual and consecutive basis.
Serving as an on-going member of Corporate Management Teams, including: the Regional Sales Generation Committee, which focuses on new ways to boost overall company sales, revenue, and the New Store Opening Team, which assists in launching well-running new locations.
