Served as a subject matter expert in science education and provided input and feedback on state policies and initiatives.
Evaluated and scored AP Biology exams according to established rubrics and standards.
Reviewed and evaluated K-12 science instructional materials for quality and alignment with standards.
Participated in a rigorous leadership development program, developing skills in strategic planning, team building, and project management.
My focus was on lipid biochemistry, but unfortunately funding for my research was lost and the lab where I studied was closed.
