Logs were chosen for dissemination and implementation throughout the U.S. Navy for all vessels of the fleet for stricter adherence to the Clean Air Act of 1990.

  • Developed a comprehensive training program to assist 284 sailors gain knowledge in basic refrigeration principles, theory and equipment operation necessary for advancement and promotion.
  • Directed and supervised emergent depot level repairs on two vital York chiller plants simultaneously while maintaining the operational capability of the ship’s combat systems and Joint Intelligence Center equipment
  • Responsible for the upkeep of six 300 ton centrifugal marine chillers, three 5.5-ton refrigeration plants, 52 galley freezers, chill boxes, high/low pressure air compressors, all system valves, gauges, thermometers, thermistors, thermostats, solenoids, and relief valves. In all, estimated over $30,000,000 in military assets. Designated “Burnerman” for two V2M 600 Modified 700 PSI boilers and associated oil heaters, oil and fuel pumps as well as two 100,000 gallon/day capable evaporators.
