Manage a lab that provides both phlebotomy and lab testing for eleven doctors and six Nurse Practitioners . We run both chemistry, immunoassays and hematology in our lab. I also oversee two phlebotomist that draw in our lab. Make sure that all testing is verified and completed by CLIA standards. Make sure that all patients are identified correctly and all insurance fit the patient is correct. Process specimens including blood and urine in our lab and make sure that all testing is ran or properly processed to go out to our reference lab when needed. Also run urine and urine microscopic, A1C, and PT/INR when needed. I also make sure that all billing and insurance codes are correct before being sent out to our reference lab. Keep up daily requirements on all lab equipment with proper QC and maintenance and calibration and warranted by CLIA.

Worked as a phlebotomist drawing patients for OV/GYN , Cardiology and Internal Medicine. Made sure that all patients were identified correctly by name and date of birth. Drew labs in the correct tubes for the test that were ordered by the doctor. Also performed 1 and 3 hour Glucose testing and breath test for certain lab test.
