I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and Certified Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor with 15 years of experience working within the mental health and alcohol and drug addiction fields with teenagers, adults, and families. I am currently employed at Primary Health Network at the Titusville Community Health Center where I work as a Licensed Professional Counselor delivering therapy to teenagers, adults, and families. Guiding individuals to see that they have within what is needed to heal and to help them connect with themselves, their Higher Power, and others drives my practice. Healing is hard. I approach healing from a space of compassion and use eclectic methods of mindfulness-based therapies to facilitate the healing process. I aim to instill the belief that healing is possible for all. I excell with individuals who have trauma-based backgrounds in addition to addictions and difficulties with self-regulation. To maintain balance in my career, I engage in self-healing practices such as medical qigong, Ashtanga yoga, meditation, backpacking, and snowshoeing. I am certified through the East Coast Institute of Medical Qigong as a Medical Qigong Therapist .
