PERSONAL GOALS
I have a passion for working with the younger generation and giving them experiences that they will always remember in a positive way. Whether coaching, babysitting, or working with student athletes, I know that I have an opportunity to be a light and someone to look up to. I do not see it as a chore or something that goes out of my way to achieve, but I thoroughly enjoy making it a special time for them to have fun while also learning important skills such as problem solving, working with others, and even physical growth.
In college, I majored in Recreation, Sport, and Wellness, where I had multiple courses that helped me learn how to facilitate activities with an array of different groups and ages. I learned that it is always vital to keep kids entertained when running drills or learning specific skills as their attention can wander very easily, as well as finding creative games and competitions to keep their experience interesting and always new and improving.
Ultimately, I would love to make a positive impact on every kid that steps into the classroom at Shore Country Day School and help them explore new activities and ways of learning as well as comfortability to promote an open, positive and fun learning environment.
