*Supervises the care/services provided by the RN, LPN, CNA, and other staff who provide services to the Residents for which the Unit Manager is responsible.

*Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organizational policies and procedures.

*Plans, assigns, and directs work in the accordance with the needs of the Residents and the skill levels of the available staff.

*Prepares work assignment sheets, taking into consideration Resident safety, the educational preparation, experience, knowledge, and ability of the persons to whom the assignments are made.
