Summary

I have been in a caregiver role for the last 13 years, both in private care and in the hospital setting. I began nursing school in Charlotte, NC, in 2020, but relocated to Richmond, VA, in 2021, and finished my ADN at Bryant and Stratton College in Richmond. I am currently enrolled at Galen College of Nursing for my BSN. I have viewed each schooling experience and employment as learning opportunities on my journey to becoming a nurse. For the last year, I have worked in a Level 1 Trauma Center, both as a patient care technician and a registered nurse. I cannot even adequately express my love for emergency nursing. I have learned so much in my short time as a nurse due to the vast issues that seek medical care at our hospital, including cardiac, sepsis, neuro, and trauma, to name a few.

My personal background includes being married to my husband for 10 years. We have three young children, ages eight, six, and two. They have been a huge motivating force in my decision to pursue nursing. I am a Buffalo native and am excited to be moving back to the 716 and living near family!
