
Dedicated School-Based SLP with 9 years of experience creating inclusive, neurodiversity-affirming environments for K-12 and preschool populations. I am an expert in comprehensive speech and language assessments and multimodal AAC systems, dedicated to crafting meaningful IEPs that capture each student’s unique strengths and speech/language goals. Having served both school districts and special education cooperatives, I am passionate about collaborating with families and multidisciplinary teams to ensure every student has a functional voice and the support to thrive both in and out of the classroom.
● Provide speech and language therapy for primary-high school aged students with moderate to profound disabilities and complex communication needs
● Deliver services through push-in, co-teaching, individual, and small group therapy models within specialized classroom settings
● Evaluate students presenting with receptive and expressive language disorders, speech sound disorders, and complex communication profiles
● Develop and implement measurable IEP goals and monitor student progress through ongoing data collection and documentation
● Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including special education teachers, occupational therapists, physical therapists, social workers, behavioral specialists, and assistive technology specialists
● Conduct AAC evaluations and support implementation of low-, mid-, and high-tech communication systems
● Design classroom communication supports including visual schedules, core boards, and AAC-based language supports
● Collaborate with AAC consultants and outside therapy providers to ensure consistent communication support across environments
● Provide training and educational materials to staff and families to support AAC implementation and communication development
● Participate in team meetings, IEP meetings, reevaluations, annual reviews, and progress reporting in accordance with special education regulations
