Families United Newtown is an organization that gives special needs individuals and their families social opportunities to meet with each other through events each month. As a volunteer I would pair up with special needs children and spend the event with them making sure they have a good time and can join in the activities. I enjoy volunteering because I love working with people.

From my Sophomore year to my Senior year of high school over each summer, 2021,2022,2023 I volunteered at a basketball camp at my high school. I've played varsity basketball all throughout high school so I wanted to be connected and help teach the younger generations.
