The Holocaust Resource Center Internship is available to qualified students matriculated at Stockton University as well as students from other institutions of higher education. Interns enroll in a 4-credit undergraduate course, GSS 3946 – Holocaust Resource Center Internship As an intern, students participate in all aspects of the HRC's operation. Administrative tasks include answering phones, greeting visitors, preparing event announcements, and providing tours of HRC facilities and programs. Familiarize themselves with the history of the Holocaust and other genocides, including reading survey texts, such as Dr. Michael Berenbaum's The World Must Know. Working with the director of the Holocaust Resource Center, interns complete a research project on a mutually agreed topic.
The exhibit was created by the United Nations Department of Global Communications, United Nations Archives and YIVO Institute for Jewish Research. Professor Debórah Dwork, Center for the Study of the Holocaust, Genocide, and Crimes Against Humanity at the Graduate Center—CUNY, served as the scholar adviser for the exhibition. The exhibition was designed by YIVO and sponsored by the Refugee Studies Initiative and the Sara and Sam Schoffer Holocaust Resource Center at Stockton University in New Jersey.
