Projects:

Vision/Dental Integration Project - Co-Project Manager (2019-2023)

• Analyzed current rating, support tools, and processes to understand the dental and vision underwriting landscape
• Worked with various stakeholder groups to separate their current needs and wants, to determine the project baseline
• Attained extensive business knowledge on Vision benefits, EyeMed data, and EyeMed’s business processes, Dental AQC, and CCI benefit data and products
• Compartmentalized the project into Vision and Dental components, then further split each component into five components: information gathering/data entry, plan benefits, rating processes, internal and external proposal documents, and downstream data flow into MMACT for reporting
• Streamlined process flows and reduced tool maintenance by moving all existing tools into ENRIE
• Provided initial dental and vision training, and training documents

Medical Proposal Integration (2017-2018)

• Worked with the Underwriting Proposal/Sales team to gather business requirements to integrate Middle Market Medical Proposals into ERNIE
• Developed exhibit layouts and identified all required inputs and outputs for proposals
• Created spec documents, collaborated with the ERNIE programmers, and tested the end product

P2E Project (2014–2016)

• Works with the Sales team to develop requirements for workflow between PEGA and Salesforce.com

• Designed underwriting departmental and individual performance reports

• Assists the development team in developing, testing, and implementing underwriting reports

Underwriting Automation Project (2014).

• Develops an automation plan, including requirements, workflow changes, and prototyping

• Works with the Actuarial team to identify data sources and data gaps needed to complete automation

• Built a renewal letter generation model using Excel VBA to support project requirements

Developed an overall workflow and an efficient process to automate all small group renewal letters

Onyx Enterprise Portal/Reporting (2013–2015)

• Designed and developed report requirements that track underwriting production volumes, turnaround times, individual performance metrics, and Targeted Acquisition Pricing

Tested, reported defects, and conducted database check-outs to ensure updates are working properly
