Also, ensure the work outlined in the permit is completed according to the specification listed within the levee district permit. Additionally, during periods of high water I remained in constant contact with the Army Corps of Engineers and Coastal Protection and Restoration Authority during the different stages of flood phases to ensure the integrity of the levee was not being compromised.
