Circulated in fast-paced multi-surgery center operating room, facilitating cataract, retina, gynecology, urology, plastics, and colorectal procedures as lead nurse.

I was a circulator in the operating room doing all orthopedic procedures. I helped position patients, anticipate what the surgeon needs during the procedure and work effeciantly to make the surgery go well and safely.

• Administered medications and treatments according to physician orders.
• Monitored patient vital signs and reported changes to medical staff.
• Assisted in surgical procedures by preparing instruments and equipment.

I was on the general team circulating in the operating room. We did a variety of procedures including gynecology, Da Vinci, laparoscopic procedures, open belly cases, urology and emergency cases. I also worked on the floor for two years on the float team.

I was a circulator doing cataract surgeries, occuloplastic surgeries, retina and cornea transplant surgeries. This was a fast pace efficient surgery center.
