Also played an important role within Finance, building and managing the entire compensation budget and forecast. This was an Executive team position.

This position oversaw both Embassy Suites hotels and was an Executive Committee position. Pre-opening Director of HR who successfully hired more than 150 team members to open the hotel in March 2018, while implementing a long-term plan to build the cultural foundation. Additionally, assisted with the negotiation of the first labor contract with Unite HERE Local 8 during the first year of opening.
  • Responsibilities are similar to what is noted above, except one hotel employed primarily Union team members. Much of my day-to-day centered around labor relations and building bridges between the team members, management and the local Union.
