Possess knowledge in areas such as population health, utilization review and data extraction. Proficient in reporting, records oversight and performance improvement. Served on multiple committees and played an active role in the organization getting the heart failure and chest pain accreditation. Part of the team that help gather data used to create the CDU. Team player and very open minded when asked to do various tasks throughout the years. Since returning to URHCS in 2010, Tasked to do many different roles, many of them were not created prior to me doing them. Each of the roles had a specific goal, however, most of them did not have a defined path. Took on each challenge and often helped create the path used to accomplish the final goal. Since Jan 2019 have been to extracting data that will be used to improve patient safety as well as the quality of care. Areas of concern / opportunities for improvement found on multiple occasions and elevated it the appropriate managers/directors. Good working relationships with staff ranging from floor nurse to directors. These relationships enable data that is not easily found in patient records to be collected. It also allows for discussions regarding opportunities for improvement to be held more easily.
