Kristin Beasley, PhD

Summary

My goal is to find a full-time position that leverages my skills in interpersonal relations, time management, and problem-solving, while also fulfilling my commitment to fostering a supportive yet results-driven work environment.

I am Dr. Kristin Beasley, and my mission is to intertwine education with mental wellness. As an innovative leader, I not only embrace risks for positive outcomes but also bring a personal, compassionate touch to my role as a supervisor. Balancing empathy with a focus on meeting deadlines, I ensure my team feels supported yet remains goal-oriented.

My journey in clinical psychology has shaped my approach to education and training, making learning impactful and significant. Having faced academic hurdles, as a reluctant learner with profound dyslexia, I understand the challenges of education. Now, as a proficient reader, writer, and speaker, I find joy in the learning process, which once seemed insurmountable.

As a visionary, I view the world with an eye on the present and a vision for the future, half a century ahead. This foresight fuels my passion for innovation, particularly in solving complex problems in business and education. My dedication to resilience is born from my own experiences and education. This drives me to implement complex concepts and attempt to solve unsolvable questions. As an advocate for mental health awareness and resilience education, I strive to make these crucial topics universally accessible, comprehensible, and equitable.

My commitment to learning includes implementation which requires experiencing ideas in various contexts and places. On a solo trip to visit schools and a community outside of Nairobi, Kenya, battling extreme poverty. This requires me to see solutions to problems in flexible and adaptable ways.

My research focuses on trauma and resilience, leading to the development of an educational platform with accredited courses in Trauma-Informed Care and Resilience Certification (TICR) at Levels 1, 2, and 3.

In my leadership role, I blend my passion for innovation with a personal touch, guiding teams with empathy and understanding. My expertise in strategic planning, problem-solving, and communication is supported by a strong grasp of business principles, project management, and team leadership. I am known for my collaborative spirit and relentless work ethic, always aiming to balance personal connections with professional efficiency.
