NURSE LEADERSHIP

  • Chosen to represent all PBMU nurses in a workshop to improve ED to PBMU admissions. Was a primary contributor in creating a new role on the PBMU that combined the Admission Coordinator with an RN role. Worked together with PBMU & EDHM leadership, SCH Continuous Improvement & Innovation department, as well as hospital management. Currently work as a leader of this role as an Admission Coordinator RN.
  • Asked to be a Relief Charge Nurse after 7 months on the PBMU due to demonstrating “strong work ethic, critical thinking skills, and solid nursing judgement” per nursing management.
  • Work as a preceptor in order to train new nurses and ACFP nurses orienting to the PBMU.
