• Complete initial intake and assessment of new admissions. Provide care to clients suffering from substance use disorder as well as psychiatric disorders. Monitored patients' vital signs and reported changes to the healthcare team. Administer medications and treatments (including MAT) as prescribed and input new orders using eMAR. Provide medication education to clients as indicated. Complete assessments including COWS and CIWA scales following detox protocols. Coordinate care between different healthcare facilities. Complete bihourly detox rounds. Maintain proper boundaries while safeguarding confidentiality.

• Assist providers, patients, and patient's family in the education, treatment and diagnosis of the patient’s condition in all age groups. Obtain and document medical history, vital signs and chief complaints. Follow up on testing, patient questions and provider requests. Maintain patient privacy throughout care. Comply with guidelines to ensure a clean work environment. Schedule appointments. Prepare and assist in sterile procedures. Assist in sterilization process of equipment and scopes. Ensure proper equipment is available for provider throughout the day for various needs and interdepartmental specialties.

• During the COVID-19 pandemic, was temporarily redeployed to assist on inpatient unit in Geisinger South Wilkes-Barre where roles included: answering call lights, providing basic care, administering medications, supervising a 1:1 suicide watch, complete wound care as well as chart hourly round data.
