Summary

After some time away raising a young family and following entrepreneurial drives, circumstances have come full circle leading back to further pursuing a career in Educational Services. Eleven years of experience at Delta College as an Academic Advisor provides a well matched resume to the position of Dual Enrollment & Early Middle College Navigator. Numerous skills and experiences from my time at Delta will aid in the fit for this position and I look forward to once again being a positive navigator in the lives of students in the Great Lakes Bay Region and beyond.

  • Conducted academic advisement services for all types of students on a daily basis to maintain educational progression and assist all students with navigating academic processes such as financial aid, resources such as tutoring, and success strategies such as proper study habits.
  • Meticulously audited student records including those with dated courses and transfer credits for graduation - when appropriate, requesting course substitutions be made.
  • Answered student inquiries and resolved problems related to curriculum and course prerequisites as well as college-wide services and resources in the community as well.
