  • Company Overview: The National EHRM Supplemental Staffing Unit supports the clinical and administrative functions at VHA medical facilities to sustain services and honor America’s Veterans during VA’s Electronic Health Record Modernization
  • The VHA National EHRM Supplemental Staffing Unit offers services that strengthen a facility’s productivity mitigation plan during the Cerner pre- and post-Go Live phases of deployment based on our knowledge and experience from multiple deployments across the enterprise
  • Deployed to Captain James A Lovell FHCC North Chicago, IL
  • Responsible for creating Peer Support/SME power points and teaching materials for the new EHRM Oracle/Cerner, for the ED staff at the FHCC to use prior to and during the new EHRM go Live on March 9th, 2024
  • Worked side by side with ED staff who are learning to use Cerner
  • Beginning in April of 2024, also staffed as an RN in their 15 bed Emergency Department at Captain James A Lovell FHCC caring for Veterans, DOD, Military Active Duty, Navy Recruits, and continued peer support for Cerner with ED staff
  • Deployed to Chalmers P Wiley VA Medical Center in Columbus, Ohio Urgent Care Center, where worked 40hrs/week in their 12 bed Urgent Care Center using Cerner and functioning as a primary RN, triage nurse and float nurse
  • Deployed to Mann Grandstaff VA Hospital in Spokane, Washington for EHRM Cerner training and use
  • Responsible for completing Cerner Chart Audits for missed appointments and referrals
