At LSI I was part of the turret department that ran a wide range of different jobs daily. The material used
was aluminum,stainless steel, and steel. I was able to learn and run a few different turrets including
FINN C1,2,3 for the lower gauge material and the FINN C6 for the thicker material that needed more of
a punch. After I ran a first part I needed to make sure all measurements matched up to the blueprint.
We had a few different locations in the shop that the parts could be moved to, it was vital that operator
double check the job packet to insure part made it to proper location.
• Reading blueprints.
• Setting up turret with the proper punch and dies for desired job.
•Make adjustments needed for x and y axis.

My job duties included making sure all customer issues and concerns we're taking care of properly, I
would also run register, recovery of the store every night, checking in vendors, unloading our trucks,
unloading rotainers which are stand up carts that had our merchandise. I would count down cashier
drawers on the shift, collect and count employees drop throughout that day and made sure money that
was for the bank drop from that day matched up to the number our system showen for end of day. I
enjoyed the customers the store brought in, interacting with others was a nice change of speed. Towards
end of 2022 the company seemed to got a rough spot with upper management and hours being cut for
employees. Our store managers where walking out of shifts and not returning again. Employees wherebeing forced to shut the store down due to scheduling issues or just as shortage of staff. Communication
between managers and upper managers just seem to become non-existent. Unfortunately I was not able
to continue with my position due to the uncertainty of day to day.

Examined completed workpieces for defects. Started machines. Monitored machine operations. Cleaned

and lubricated machines. Verified conformance to specifications, using micrometers, gauges, calipers,

templates, rulers. Operated press brake. Used machinery to die-cut, dry-edge. Printed out and attached

accurate labels to finished rolls. Spotted and determined visual defects. Ran the presses. Conducted

in-process inspections. Measured parts to ensure correct dimensions. Cleaned and lubricate machines.

Grinded out burrs and sharp edges, using portable grinders, speed lathes, and polishing jacks. Installed,

aligned, and lock specified punches, dies, cutting blades and other fixtures in rams and beds of machines,

using gauges, templates, feelers, shims, and hand tools. Loaded workpieces, plastic material, and

chemical solutions into machines. Lubricated workpieces with oil. Measured completed workpieces to

verified conformance to specifications, using micrometers, gauges, calipers, templates, and rulers.

Positioned guides, stops, holding blocks, and other fixtures to secured and directed workpieces, using

hand tools and measuring devices. Position, aligned, and secured workpieces against fixtures and stops

on machine beds and on dies. Read work orders and production schedules to determine specifications,

such as materials to be used, locations of cutting lines, and dimensions and tolerances. Started machines,

monitored their operations, and recorded operational data. Knowledge sets include: blue print reading,

CNC, cnc machines, drill press, grinders, grinding, lathes, machine operator, machine shop, micrometers,

precision.
