Since starting at Texas Health Rockwall 2 years ago, I have joined both the Unit-Based Council and Education Committee to help contribute to staff development and unit improvement initiatives. With my experience, it has provided my ability to collaborate and provide high quality patient care in a fast paced clinical setting.

• Delivered compassionate, patient-centered care during labor and delivery, fostering a supportive environment for families.
• Collaborated with physicians during deliveries to facilitate prompt interventions and optimize birth experiences for families.
• Managed epidural analgesia infusions and monitored vital signs during labor and delivery.
• Provided emotional support and guidance to new mothers and families during labor, delivery and postpartum.

Compassionate and experienced Labor and Delivery nurse with 8 years of hands-on experience providing high-quality care to mothers in fast paced clinical settings at Baylor Scott and White. I have been recognized with a Daisy nomination for excellence in patient care and I currently serve on the Unit-Based Council and sex trafficking committee with some leadership experience as a Charge Nurse, demonstrating strong clinical judgment, teamwork and advocacy. These roles have allowed me to build a strong foundation in clinical judgement, education, and leadership development.

Upon hire at BSW, I completed the Parkland Critical Care Program to help further my training in the Emergency Department. Through that, I have applied my skills, knowledge and critical thinking to my patient care.
