My assigned duties included analysis of inspection results, inventory documents, knowledgeable of the organization and functions of areas involved in providing multiple logistical support, status reports, and Property Book supporting documents. I assisted the Supply Sergeant and unit commanders with shortage and excess property management. Inspections included CSDP, CLRT, OIP and COMET results. My review of cyclic and sensitive inventories was focused on ensuring property accountability was being properly maintained, annotated, and that discrepancies were corrected. I also assisted the Supply Sergeant with Change of Command inventory validation. Shortage and excess property management requires review and analysis of approved authorization documents (to include MTOE, TDA, CTA, MEEL, and Letters of Authority) against on-hand and due-in equipment. The information is used to cross level equipment and to increase USR readiness ratings. All the above tasks also require the preparation and/or audit of unit and Property Book level supporting documents and supporting document file maintenance. In accordance with applicable regulations as well as established operations and procedures, I maintained automated (PBUSE) and manual accounting records, equipment receipts and turn-ins documents, and perform due-in/due-out processing. I supervised the review and verification of equipment receipts against applicable shipping documents to include bills of lading, purchase contracts, shipping documents, and lateral transfers. I supervised the unloading, unpacking, visual inspection, count, segregation, palletizing, and storage of incoming supplies and equipment. I also processed request and turn-in documents, inventories, surveys, and other applicable warehousing documents at the direct support level warehouse. I supervised and assisted in LOGPAC operations including the distribution of field rations, routine supplies replenishments, and operated material handling equipment. I processed accounting and sales actions with self-service supply warehouse.
