  • As a site supervisor in the childcare/out of school time setting I was responsible for the day to day operations of multiple childcare sites. In addition to making sure that the day to day routine, and curriculum needs were met. I was part of interviewing, hiring/firing, monitoring progress, implementing directives when necessary and conducting annual staff evaluations. I am, myself, always looking for opportunities to learn and grow. This interest in life long learning lead me to the planning, implementation and teaching of many of the staff development opportunities for staff across multiple programs. During my years of experience as a site supervisor within Community Education programming I had the pleasure of working with several members of the community in efforts to establish collaborations and partnerships within the community and across programs.
  • I am an empty nester, as my daughter is a sophomore at the University of Minnesota-Duluth. I would love to be able to apply my leadership skills, guidance, attention to detail, and interpersonal skills to building relationships and making connections across all ages and have discovered a passion for supporting others in their learning journey. I feel that communication and building relationships are the two most valuable qualities a work place can have and I look forward to bringing my skills and experience to others and gain new opportunities to learn and grow myself.
