  • Performed adult comprehensive cardiac sonography examinations in Outpatient and Inpatient settings, including transthoracic echocardiograms varying in complex pathology, exercise and pharmacological echo stress tests, echo-guided right ventricular biopsies for cardiac transplant patients, and transesophageal echocardiograms with detailed imaging and 3D imaging for structural heart cases and valvular repairs, and echo-guided procedures in the Cath lab.
  • Experience with multiple ultrasound machines, including the EPIQ-CVx, GE-s70, and GE Vivid series.
  • Conducted 2D imaging of all structures in the heart, M-mode, color Doppler, and spectral Doppler analysis, cross-sectional imaging, 3D imaging, strain imaging, as well as additional imaging dedicated to specific pathology.
  • Trained in administering ultrasound-enhancing agents and agitated saline for designated imaging.
  • Overnight on-call experience for emergency echocardiograms or echo-guided procedures, like pericardiocentesis, for patients in critical condition.
  • Provided detailed written preliminary reports to physicians regarding findings from scans, including 2D measurements, Doppler tracings, valvular abnormalities and regurgitation, 3D volumes, and GLS strain values.
