I am currently responsible for planning and delivering a comprehensive English language curriculum while engaging and inspiring students in literature, writing, grammar, and critical thinking. I create a positive and inclusive classroom environment, evaluate and provide constructive feedback on student work. I also collaborate with colleagues and parents to support student development and stay abreast of educational trends and continuously seek professional growth while upholding high standards of teaching excellence while fostering a love for language and literature.

As a high school reading teacher, I facilitated literacy development, employed diverse instructional strategies to enhance students' reading skills and cultivated a love for literature while fostering critical thinking and analytical abilities. However, after desiring to engage with more comprehensive aspects of language arts, teaching a higher level meant seeking employment at a different school.

Being a Special Olympics coach involves working with athletes who have intellectual disabilities, providing them with opportunities to participate in sports and promoting inclusivity. Coaches focus on developing athletes' skills, fostering teamwork, and ensuring a positive and supportive environment.
