• Complete clinical intake and diagnostic assessments, crisis response, de-escalation and intervention, treatment plan development, and monitoring inmate/patient progress.
• Manage in-depth case reviews.
• Maintain compliance protocols on assigned caseload, ranging from weekly to monthly clinical treatment for 35-80 inmates/patients in Enhanced Out-Patient (EOP) program, and monthly to quarterly clinical care for 30-100 inmate/patients in Correctional Clinical Case Management System(CCCMS) program
• Collaborate weekly within interdisciplinary treatment team (consisting of law enforcement, medical, psychiatry, nursing, and recreation health specialists).
• Ensure program compliance and develop aftercare and clinical pre-release plans.
• Conduct population-focused treatment for incarcerated adult males and transgender individuals, ranging from acute to chronic psychiatric illness to co-morbid disorders, such as: acute and chronic health issues and/or substance abuse issues.
• Streamlined clinical reporting framework for the prison.

Suicide Observation and High Security Unit:

• Provided daily clinical rounds, crisis intervention, and brief therapy to suicidal patients under observation to prevent self-harm behavior and aggressive patients under observation to prevent harm to others.
• Completed suicidal/homicide risk evaluations, diagnostic evaluations, participated in daily interdisciplinary treatment teams, assessed treatment needs and completed discharge planning and referrals, including for psychiatric hospitalization at Department of Mental Health (DMH).

Enhanced Outpatient (EOP) Unit:

• Provided case management, crisis intervention, suicidal/homicidal evaluations, individual treatment, and group therapy to inmates, including those with developmental disabilities.
• Assigned as Social Worker for all Deaf EOP inmates and provided direct treatment in American Sign Language (ASL), provided education to other providers about Deaf Culture through consultation and formal presentation, coordinated prison-wide scheduling of Sign Language Interpreters at CMF.
• Provided clinical supervision to registered Associate Social Workers earning licensure hours.
• Completed in-depth record reviews and diagnostic assessments, participated in interdisciplinary treatment teams, coordinated care with psychiatry, psychology, nursing, art therapy, and recreation therapy.
• Completed referrals to Department of Mental Health (DMH) for higher level of care (in-patient) as clinically indicated.

• Completed Biopsychosocial Assessments on incarcerated, in-patient individuals.
• Provided clinical information in interdisciplinary treatment teams.
• Provided daily clinical rounds, group and individual therapy within in-patient milieu hospital setting.
• Active member of the mental health care team working with the patient, family, and other medical providers including psychiatry, nursing, psychology, and recreation therapy.
• Completed referrals to Atascadero State Hospital for patients needing higher level of care (in-patient)
