- Started as a rigger on Line 2
- Learned the fundamentals of the job and safety culture of the shop
- As more time passed by, skills in efficiency increased as well as a necessity to think outside of the box to provide a safer environment to work in
- Filled in as backup layup to help out and ended up as primary layup within weeks due to a need for the position to be filled
- Spent the year pushing to be the best at the job to keep the line running
- The biggest takeaway of the job was the realization of absolute effort it takes from everybody to be a successful and clean running line
- Took the lessons learned from the past years working different jobs throughout the line, joining it with the safety culture from the table and the work ethic from layup and decided to become lead rigger of Line 4 and starting my career at New Millennium in a leadership role
- Throughout Line 4’s time line, leadership skills and culture bloomed; as well as safety culture
- With only one recordable in 2 years and no loss time accidents, the safety culture on Line 4 is thriving in a way that correlates with their work ethic and overall quality
