Summary

I am passionate about learning new things and helping myself and others grow. I have a strong work ethic, and adapt easily to changing environments. I try to reflect upon and improve my own interpersonal skills each day. I believe that we set the example for our co-workers, our communities and future leaders to watch. Those around us will look at our behavior to see how we work out problems, navigate difficult situations professionally, as well as how we communicate effectively and respectfully with our peers and others. Empowering, collaborating and encouraging one another to share thoughts and work as a team creates confidence and a positive environment that builds not only successful employees but a dynamic workplace as well.

Over the last 27 years, the most rewarding part of education has been building relationships with students, staff, parents and community members. I was able to see students come full circle from kindergarten to their graduation to beginning their own adult journeys. Being a servant leader continues to show my students and their families that I see who they are, I value what they will become and I am always there to help them reach their next step - whatever that may be. Understanding the impact we can make on our world each day is the only test we will actually pass or fail in life.
