I am currently a medical records coordinator LPN for the last 5 years but float to working on the floor when needed. I am responsible for all appointments, prior authorizations, run all in house clinics. I also in charge of monitoring all medical records if complete and correct.

All the following but not limited to:

• Administered medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers.
• Monitored patient vital signs, reporting changes to nursing staff.
• Assisted in daily living activities, promoting patient comfort and well-being.
• Collaborated with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans.
• Documented patient progress accurately in electronic health records systems.
• Assisted with admissions, appointments, transfers, and discharges.
• Demonstrated excellent technical skills in wound dressing changes, IV therapy administration, catheter insertion, and other routine nursing procedures.
• Facilitated efficient communication between patients, families, and healthcare providers to promote continuity of care across settings.
• Administered controlled narcotics, inserted IVs, and performed catheterizations.
• Provided compassionate palliative care for terminally ill patients while supporting their emotional needs during end-of-life stages.
• Gathered lab specimens, ordered testing, and interpreted results to diagnose patients.
• Delivered updates in patient status to charge nurse, recording changes in medical records.
• Assisted physicians with diagnostic testing and procedural support for optimal treatment decisions.

I was a LPN assisting with checking in patients for physicians including but not limited to: vital signs, obtaining blood work, catheterizations, assisting with procedures, prior authorizations, and informing patients of results.
