Experienced Case Worker capable of arranging services, collaborating with families and providing ongoing counseling and support. Excellent communication, planning and conflict resolution skills.
Offer emotional and practical support to parents and their families, in their own homes and in the community.
Improve parenting capacity, adult capacity for employment and educational attendance of children, as well as decreases offending and other behaviors which cause risk to children.
Supervise interactions between parents and child
Provide families with community resources and other needs to help them become more self-sufficient
Maintain client confidentiality
Maintain regular contact with referral source, family, and all other relevant parties.
Help increase parents skills, confidence and abilities of all family members to live theri daily lives in a positive and safe way.
Use supportive directive and teaching interventions provided in a community based environment that is designed to improve individual's level of function as it relates to a mental illness.
Use interventions to modify the psychological, behavioral, emotional, cognitive and social factors affecting the individual's functioning through modeling, role playing, and practice.
Assist individual and their family to learn age appropriate ways to manage behavior and regain or retain self-control.
Enhance and promote communication skills, problem solving skills, anger management and social development skills.
Maintain client confidentiality
Maintain knowledge of community resources and referrals and connect youth and families to these resources when appropriate.
Work with client/guardian to set short-term and long term goals.
