Internship
Active Leader: Part of NHS (National Honors Society)
Bharatanatyam: I am a disciple of Calai Chandra at the Calai Chandra School of Bharatanatyam, a non-profit organization in Jersey City.
- Competed in numerous competitions and stage performances, earning recognition and first-place awards across the state.
- Completed my Arangetram (graduation & milestone: to complete an Arangetram, the dancer must have 7-10 years of experience. It is a solo debut with a run time of 90-120+ minutes of non-stop dance with short intermissions. Completed on July 4, 2023 at 13 years old with a live orchestra [average age is 16]. When an arangatram is completed, the once provincial dancer becomes a professional performer.)
Acoustic Guitar:
I have taken exams administered by the Royal Conservatory of Music, one of the biggest music institutions regarded for its international reach.
- Gold medalist at the state-level for my exceptional test scores for level 1 (very selective, only a few out of the many test-takers are rewarded).
- Rewarded honor roll for level 2 exam.
Model UN:
- I was awarded “Best GRP” in the Finance Committee amongst 80 students as a first-year delegate (GRP stands for government research paper. I went into depth on Syria’s past, current, and future on three topics: financial interdependency, wartime economics, and food price inflation.)
Engaged in hands-on cybersecurity activities during NJCCIC internship, enhancing understanding of security infrastructure protection:
I had a 5-day, online internship within the New Jersey Cybersecurity and Communications Integration Cell (NJCCIC) in the summer of 2025. Here, we learned the logic and strategy used to protect New Jersey’s security infrastructure. There were speakers who came in daily (for example, Governor James E. McGreevey, former New Jersey governor signing the famous “Amber Alert” system), and they gave us an overview of cybersecurity and its impact from a high scale. We did some hands-on networking activities using the command line interface. We looked at GRC’s Password Haystack, and ShieldsUp where we could see the ports on the systems and what services run on those ports, and more.
