I will be attending Eastern Arizona College starting fall of 2024 to spring of 2025. I will be studying Graphic Design.
I have always loved art and being an inspiration to others. Art is my passion. This last year, I was able to be an art instructor, working along with my mentor, Sophie Ellefson, who taught me in art since I was in the first grade. It was rewarding for my progress to be able to share what I love most with other students.
I started my own business. I was commissioned to paint a mural in a downtown art studio. I have created sticker designs, t shirts, sketchbooks, coloring books, and prints and have been able to sell them at art shows and markets. I have also sold original pieces of work. It has been a definite learning experience for me and I am excited to continue my education and creating more art.
I was a life guard for Rancho Sahaurita for three summers. This required me to take specialized training and classes to ensure adequately prepared for emergency situations. I was also able to interact with patrons. Being a life guard requires teamwork and working together to ensure the safety of those around us. At the end of the shift, we had closing responsibilities, which included cleaning up the area around the pools and storing equipment for the next day.
My working career began when I was 11. I was hired to pet sit multiple years during the summer for a family friend. I was in charge of feeding, watering and cleaning up after them.
As a home schooled student, my family participates
in an area common wealth school weekly. As volunteers we clean up the church weekly after classes.
I plan to attend EAC for my freshman year, after which I will serve a mission for my church. I will be able to work the entire year, as I am currently in braces and will not be fill out mission papers until they are removed.
Thank you for your consideration in employing me at this time.
