I’m a Software Engineer at Cognizant with a Master’s in Electrical and Computer Engineering from NC State, where I focused on Machine Learning, Computer Vision, and software systems. In my current role, I work on modernizing enterprise data workflows and transforming legacy analytics into scalable, open-source solutions. I also contribute to an initiative focused on streamlining data lineage using AI-assisted techniques, helping improve traceability and efficiency across systems. Beyond implementation, I’ve gained exposure to the full project lifecycle from a technical perspective — participating in planning discussions, solution design conversations, and final presentations. My core interests lie in Machine Learning, Generative AI (LLMs & Agentic AI), and backend-focused software engineering. I primarily work with Python, TypeScript, SQL, and C/C++, and I enjoy turning complex ideas into practical, real-world solutions. Outside of work, you’ll usually find me singing, reading, travelling, or keeping up with cricket — especially during the tournament season. I enjoy learning just as much off the screen as I do on it.
