In 2004 I was promoted to Postmaster with the United States Postal Service. A Postmaster is ultimately responsible for every aspect of the Post Office for the town in which they are appointed, to include Human Resources, Operations, Safety, Labor and Relations, Public Relations, Customer Service and Financial Accountability. During my career with the USPS, I was the appointed Postmaster in Centertown MO, California MO, Eldon MO and Jefferson City MO. I also was selected for multiple special assignments to include jobs in Analytics and Manager of Post Office Operations (Manager of all Postmasters in Mid Missouri) and Administrative assistant to the Manager of Post Office Operations for many years.
I was promoted to Supervisor of Customer Service in Jefferson City. It was my responsibility to oversee daily operations to ensure efficient mail processing and delivery. I monitored carrier performance with different online tools and GPS data. I resolved customer inquiries and assisted the retail window with maintaining the stamp accountability and customer demands. I was responsible for making certain that all carriers delivered the daily routes efficiently, timely and safe.
