My current Senior Life Insurance Underwriting Consultant role at Corebridge Financial includes active engagement with financial partners to help drive new life business. With over 25 years of industry experience, My primary focus is to provide exceptional underwriting experience on complex and Jumbo size policies with a total line exceeding $65M, as well as policies that are underwritten utilizing alternative data sources to eliminate unnecessary medical requirements, resulting in a more fluid-less decision-making process that reduces expenses, improves cycle time and heightens customer’s overall satisfaction.

In addition to driving sales, I am passionate about process improvement and the future of underwriting. I have worked with several exceptional companies, including The Equitable Life Insurance Company, AXA Equitable, AXA Network, LLC, BB&T, Crump Life Insurance, Transamerica, Nationwide Financial, and Corebridge Financial.

In 2023, I was elected to the Board of Underwriters at Nationwide Financial as the Lead WFG Underwriting Ambassador overseeing the ‘Lean Six Sigma Black Belt Project—2023 Nationwide Financial Underwriting & New Business Enhancements. This project resulted in creating and deploying a written procedure for 'Standard of Work’ and several side projects that helped streamline the process. These measures saved time for both underwriters and case managers, with overall cost savings exceeding $1M annually.
