Currently, I am a third-year resident at the PIH Downey Family Medicine Program, where I provide care to the medically underserved community in a rural area. I have gained experience in both outpatient and inpatient settings.

  • In the outpatient setting, managed chronic medical conditions such as diabetes, chronic kidney disease, and heart failure, as well as diagnose and treat acute illnesses like urinary tract infections, sinusitis, and gastroenteritis. I enjoy educating my patients about their conditions to empower them.
  • Performed various procedures, including pap smears, skin biopsies, incision and drainage, and joint injections with or without ultrasound
  • Collaborated with specialists such as cardiologists, endocrinologists, and nephrologists to enhance my medical knowledge and become more well-rounded.
  • In the inpatient setting, led the medicine team, treating patients with severe acute diseases such as heart failure exacerbation, osteomyelitis, pulmonary embolism, COPD exacerbation, and myasthenia gravis.
