Fire Alarm Responsibilities

• Assisted Installing various fire alarm systems around the upstate of South Carolina
• Reading Blueprints and installing devices including: Pull Stations, Smoke Detectors, Duct Detectors, Test Switches, Strobes, Speaker Strobes, Horn Strobes, Monitor Modules, Relay Modules, Annunciators, NAC Panels, and Fire Alarm Control Panels
• Running Cable for NAC and SLC Circuits
• Troubleshooting Fire Alarm Systems including Finding Ground Faults, Open NAC Circuits and deficient devices
• On Call Schedule for Fire Alarm Service needed after hours
• Testing and Inspecting Fire Alarm Systems for BMW Plant

Security Responsibilities

• Lead Tech for Security Installs for Greenville County Schools including Avigilon Security Systems
• Reading Blueprints and Installing Security System according to Prints
• Installing & Programming Avigilon Servers for updated Security System
• Installing & Programming Lantronix and Transition Networks Switches for updated Security System
• Installing & Programming Avigilon Cameras including Domes, Dual Heads, Fisheyes, and Multisensor Cameras
• Installing POE Injectors, and Media Converters for Multisensor Power Supplys
• Installing Single Mode and Multi Mode SFP's to Link Security System
• Troubleshooting Complex Technical Issues with Avigilon Equipment

• Routine Grounds Maintenance for Residential and Commercial Properties including (Mowing, trimming shrubs, Irrigation installs, Mulch installs, Laying stone, Edging Driveways, Driving a truck with a trailer.)

• Read and interpreted blueprints for commercial & residential high voltage electrical installs, and Rewires. Read and interpreted blueprints for Installations of Conduits including (Innerduct, SealTight, EMT, and PVC) for AT&T Fiber Installations
• Knowledge of High Voltage Electrical including (Panel Installations, Pulling wire, Receptacles, Switches, Fans, Fixtures, 120V A/C Outlets, Water Heaters, Stoves, Dryer Plugs, Dimmer Switches, Meter Installs, CRAN poles, Power poles, Nema Cabinets, Backboards, Ground wires, and Ground Bars
• Knowledge of Low Voltage Electrical including (Cat5, and Cat6 cable)
• Knowledge of Various Construction Projects including (Flooring, Concrete, Tile, and Drywall. Flexibility to work in Charlotte & Columbia when needed.
• Driving the Company Truck to and from Jobs (Local & Long Distance)

• Read and Interpreted Blueprints for Installations of Pallet Racking Systems, Mezzanines, and Mobile Cabinets Traveled to Joint Base Andrews Air Force Base in Washington (4 weeks) and Dyess Air Force Base in Abilene Texas (5 weeks) for Installs

• Installed Home for Sale Signs and did slight maintenance (Changing Bulbs, Fixing Lights, Fixing Pumps, Etc.)
