• Curriculum and instruction: Overseeing the development and selection of curriculum and textbooks, and ensuring compliance with district-adopted curriculum
• Staff development: Supporting schools with staff development and instructional improvement programs

Assessment programs- develop assessment programs to evaluate the effectiveness of the curriculum.
