  • My current responsibilities include issuing payments for over the road repairs, keeping our intranet updated with the latest documents for training and standard operating procedures. Each day I pull the number of seated trucks we have down over the road and in our terminals for the maintenance manager.
  • Other positions held at U. S. Xpress, Inc. include:
  • - Invoice Clerk - During this time I was responsible for processing invoices for Travel Centers of America and reconciling their monthly statement. I was later pulled off this account and asked to process the trailer invoices for our national accounts.
  • - Recruiting Supervisor - I was responsible for the development of driver recruiters. I monitored calls and gave feedback to improve call quality, job knowledge, and the end result of increasing the number of hires each month, while maintaining and increasing truck count.
  • - Switchboard Supervisor - I scheduled staff to answer and accurately connect 5000-6000 calls per day in a timely manner. I maintained and updated information on the telephone extensions, office assignments and related records. I was also responsible for the switchboard operators annual performance reviews.

I met daily with peers to review trends and share best practices. I also worked closely with account managers to ensure performance standards were met.

  • - Performance Coach Manager - In this position, I monitored quality trends for the Chattanooga site to improve CSA audit scores and improve the overall customer service for callers. I scheduled regular meetings with each Performance Coach to discuss their team quality reports, coaching plans, and individual action plans to ensure each goal is attainable and the level of progress.
  • - Performance Coach - In this position, I supported customer service associates and provided guidance so they could perform their daily functions. I reviewed quality audits to ensure proper workflows were being applied, tracked errors, and coached customer service associates to improve their overall quality.
  • - Customer Service Associate - My daily responsibility was to provide phone support and answer phone inquiries from members, providers and policy holders on benefit and claim issues. I routed open call activities to the appropriate department for quick resolution and follow up.

  • This company is no longer in business. However, while I was employed there, I held several positions. I started out as the administrative assistant to the Vice President of Sales. During that time, I was cross trained on the data entry of purchase orders from our vendors, I reviewed the weekly paint list to ensure accurate parts and orders were scheduled to run so we could meet the delivery time our vendors needed. Another position I held was in the accounts receivable department where I put together the daily deposit, and updated the vendor accounts. I also pulled and reported the weekly, monthly and quarterly numbers to the corporate accountant. The last position I held there was shipping manager where I created weekly shipping lists and ensured all orders were packed accurately. I also prepared the shipping documents and labels. Coordinated with the transportation companies to ensure the shipments arrived at their destination on time. Once the shipment left the dock, the vendor was invoiced.
