Work History

Manufacturing Process Engineer

Delta Research Corp
Livonia, MI
11.2014 - 04.2026
  • Utilized Solidworks to model, detail, check, and sign off process sketches laying out the manufacturing process of part details and assemblies for automotive and aerospace applications.
  • Designed fixturing and gages for parts at various stages of the manufacturing process including intricate Gleason quench dies for small to large bevel rings and annulus rings.
  • Utilized Klingelnberg's KIMoS and KOMET5 software to reverse engineer various Spiral Bevel, Zerol, and Hypoid bevel sets for development purposes. This includes sets which no longer have a Gleason summary, or a lack of sufficient data to properly produce parts.
  • Utilized Klingelnberg's Centric software to manufacture Curvic Couplings.
  • Setup and blocked out Gleason's No. 523 and No. 6 Roll Tester machines to roll test and pull tapes from various bevel sets.
  • Reviewed, and approved gear cutting and grinding tools including hobs, shaper cutters, skive cutters, pull and rotary broaches, and dedicated final grind dressing disks and CBN wheels.
  • Maintained database of all fixturing and tooling and used data to reduce cost of tooling by utilizing in-house cutters to manufacture various parts.
  • Managed projects focused on reducing waste and improving sustainability initiatives within operations.
  • Evaluated new technologies for potential implementation into the manufacturing process, enabling cost reductions or productivity enhancements.
  • Implemented lean manufacturing principles to reduce lead times, improve efficiency, and increase customer satisfaction.
  • Contributed to cost savings initiatives by identifying opportunities for material substitution, process improvements, or equipment optimization.
  • Conducted root cause analyses to troubleshoot production issues and implement corrective actions.
