Summary

I Currently am working full time at the local hospital of 375+ beds at Del E. Webb as a Vascular Access Specialist. I also Pick up extra Shifts anytime available as a Respiratory Therapist when times call for extra help. My role in the hospital is to assess the need and what's the best option for each patient when determining what type of access is needed. I work with physicians and nurses on the daily communicating to achieve and solve problems. We are trained in sterile technique, assessment of patients, communications with family and staff, and skilled in ultrasound evaluation and placement of lines. During days that I pick up for respiratory, I work with critically ill patients in the ICU and ER all the way to out-patient and observation patients. I have been trained to assess and treat using protocols and clinical judgement. I love my job and take helping others in need very serious. Every encounter I make with an individual I try to make as pleasant and easy as possible.
