- As a Sr. technician I am responsible for trouble shooting and repairing any of the machines plant wide; as well as facilities if need be.
- Managing all technicians on shift, as well as managing operations associates if operations Manager, or Supervisor are unavailable.
- Providing downtime updates, production numbers to Corporate and our management team daily.
- Reading many different types of schematics, and trouble shooting such as; electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic.
- Any Electrical issue plant wide I also troubleshoot and correct, such as (Power loss, Replacing breakers, Replacing and programming Allen Bradley Drives, Replacing fuses, Replacing and wiring of 120, 240, and 480v motors. etc.)
- Troubleshooting and installing all of the photoelectric eyes, and sensors on conveyors, machines, etc.
- Troubleshooting an repairing safety circuits on all of our machines.(24V DC).
- Troubleshooting and wiring all of our vacuum system (Hoppers, T Valves, Mac Valves, etc.) from the railcars/ to the silo, and back into the overhead of production floor.
- When not working on the floor, It was my job to fill in if management was off for any reason. (Such as instructing and helping the nightshift crew to perform all task needed that night.
- Also sending out metric reports, Turnover emails, perform harm walks, safety audits, and process audits. To verify what we are doing on the floor is safe and efficient.
- I also perform preventative maintenance in the form of PM orders and visually looking for issues with the lines, create fixes such as fabricate new plates, or ordering and installing upgrades to help with production.
- I perform work on and replace pneumatic cylinders, hydraulic cylinders, chain driven/ roller driven belts.
- I work on 480v plastic grinders, and chain hoist driven palletizers.
- I also performed maintenance on air compressors and chillers.
- I also operate forklifts, and man lifts while performing task overhead.
- I also train all the technicians in the facility in all matters Electrical, or Mechanical.
- I currently have 4 months before i hit 5 years with the company.

- As a mechanic i performed work orders and maintenance on Diesel Trucks. (Straight trucks, and Tractor Trailers).
- I performed oil changes, changed tires, changed brakes when needed in a fleet of 40 trucks.
