Kyle Frusti

I'm currently working with UPFS to provide a continuation of the services I provided to elementary age students. This summer I'm assisting students going into high school working specifically on reading comprehension, high school level algebra skills and emotional control/management skills.

• Provided homework assistance using specific curriculum and materials.
• Supported students with helpful study habits and exam strategies.
• Provided one-on-one tutoring sessions, tailoring instruction to meet the specific needs of each student while promoting independent learning skills.
• Enhanced students'' understanding of subject matter by incorporating real-world examples into lessons.

Worked with high-risk children in foster care as a tutor, mentor, and care provider. Taught elementary aged students in foster care basic math, reading skills, hygiene and life skills.

• Helped with home management tasks, meal preparation, grocery shopping, and routine cleaning.
• Promoted social, emotional, and physical health through diverse activities.
• Consulted with supervisors to assess cases and plan strategies for enhancing care.
• Managed challenging patient behaviors effectively by utilizing de-escalation techniques.
