I actively work with and assist employees engaged in molding, trimming, kitting and assembling plastic injection molded parts. I inspect products, ensuring adherence to specifications and conformance to company standards. My top priority is to ensure efficient use of manpower and machine time for assigned shift. I also perform machine set-up as time and workload permit.
- Essential Functions:
- Assign employees to machines, plan crewing for break and lunch rotations.
- Adhere to MATTEC production schedule and machine priority list.

- Analyze MATTEC data during and after production to improve business performance.
- Other Duties:
- Safely set up and takedown molds that weigh up to 10,000 lbs. using bridge crane.

- Start machines and process parts to meet all customer specifications
- Clean molds at specific intervals.
- Complete production documents related to mold changes and adjustment.
- Work closely with Tool Shop, Managers and production associates to address problems with tooling, optimize cycle times and improve part quality.
